Just heard the sad news about Bea Arthur and found this wonderful candid on flickr.


Photo note:

Bea Arthur. A photo I took of her on May 16, 1997 in New York. When a theater usher hassled me, she stood up for me and was very gracious. I also met her briefly when I was in the studio audience for the taping of episode #8 of "The Golden Girls" in Hollywood 1985. Another sad loss.
