"5 years ago, I started a music site called Crazewire.com and my first interview was with Jack Johnson. I am a bit embarrasssed about the interview itself because it was my first time and my questions weren't interesting. It ended awkwardly when I asked him to show me some surfing stances on top of the ratty couch he was sitting on. He laughed, and then sternly said, "No."

I was digging through old photos and found this one of him sitting on the couch he wouldn't stand on. I'm thankful I saved it ... it reminds me of being 18 and only wanting to do this, to be around music and take photos at shows. It was thrilling."
